I bring nearly three decades of practical working experience every time I visit a customer to consult on their trees. I obtained my ISA Certified Arborist credential in 1995 and ran my own successful tree business for a decade before joining the team at Rainbow. During that time, I also spent four years as an Adjunct Professor teaching Arboriculture at Hennepin Technical College. I’m also a Certified Treecare Safety Professional with the Tree Care Industry Association. I specialize as a technical consultant providing guidance and insight on many of the most technical and difficult projects that Rainbow Treecare performs. Most recently, I have moved into a full-time consulting role in which I hope to continue my growth and development as an arborist and leader.

I was born and raised in south Minneapolis. I have a grown daughter who has also found a path in the field of arboriculture. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time outdoors enjoying nature, camping, hunting, boating, and fishing. I’m also an avid cook.#
